UK Leisure/Tourist Visit Visa: Short Stay description
If you or any dependants are looking to visit the UK for a short period of time, this legal pack is for you. You can apply for either single-entry or multi-entry visit visas. There are also three long-term standard visa options for either 2, 5 or 10 years. Please note that you can only remain in the UK for a maximum period of 6 months during each visit. Most of our members will use this legal pack for leisure/tourism purposes: such as a short general holiday, to visit friends and family, attend a wedding etc. To be eligible to apply under this route you need to meet the relevant immigration rules which include the following requirements:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Just follow our legal pack cover letter/template and document checklist. Those documents contain everything you need to show and provide in order to prove to the decision maker you meet the rules.

You can download a Microsoft Word editable version of the template and open it.  Once it is open you can edit it by simply replacing the highlighted red content with your own information. We do not recommend editing text that does not require editing as you could be changing important legal content. We recommend that you should only change the red text. However, if you feel that other changes are required and you are confident that the required changes will not have a negative impact on the overall strength of your application, then make those changes.

Our document checklist is designed to help you identify the majority of the documents needed for your proposed application. However, there may be times when for whatever reason you cannot provide everything on the checklist. In those circumstances you should provide what you can and explain in your application cover letter why you cannot provide the other documents. Please note that some documents are required for the application to be deemed valid. Failure to provide those documents will invalidate your application.

Our document checklists are not an exhaustive list. You may find that you have other documents that you feel would help your application. If that is the case then add the further document(s) but only after you have carefully considered the impact those documents could have on your proposed application. You should not submit any document(s) that contradict any aspect of your current or previous application(s).

An application index is a list of all documents and or pages included within your proposed application. It contains helpful details as to where a particular document can be found. It can be very useful when you have a large number of documents to submit with your application.

We endeavour to keep all our templates and document checklist up to date. In particular, we will always aim to immediately update them in circumstances where the law or rules have change.

Your use and continued use of any legal pack product or member services on our site means you explicitly agree to follow and be bound by our terms of use (the “Terms of Use”), and all the other terms of use as specified on or stated in our site. You can view our full terms of use here. In short the answer is no. Only current members have a licence to use our content and that use is limited to their sole use.

Everything on our platform has been designed and developed either by experienced UK Immigration lawyers or in conjunction with them.
